FAQ
What is a Balinese bed?
A large four-poster daybed with a canopy, sized for two or more people and sold for the day. It is the upgrade from a standard sunbed and the reason most people book a beach club rather than using the public beach.
Do I need to reserve?
For the daybeds, certainly in high season. They are limited in number and they are what everybody wants. Standard sunbeds are easier but not guaranteed on a hot weekend.
Is there parking?
The club states parking and changing facilities, which matters on a stretch of coast where street parking near the beach is genuinely difficult.
What water sports are available?
Activities run directly off the beach in front of the club rather than from a separate marina, so they can be arranged from the bed rather than as a separate outing.
Where is Playa Fañabé?
On the Costa Adeje seafront between Playa de las Américas and Playa del Duque, on the continuous promenade that runs along that stretch.
Is it worth it over the public beach?
It depends on the day you want. A public beach is free and busy; a beach club is a fixed spot with service, shade and somewhere to leave your things, for a fee.
